I still have my daily struggles and really bad days, but Im starting to cope with my disease. thankyou. ps. Is it ok to consume alcohol or can it react badly with my medication?( prednisone, imuran, hydroxychloroquine, protonics) @sabrinaafrancoiss
AWW!!! :DDD Thank You! You are so sweet. I just followed you back on instagram <3. You are so beautiful (:
Its wonderful to hear that you are feeling better mood-wise and physically. I too, even now, I have bad days and the daily struggles from the lupus, the arthritis, the headaches, and the body pains and just feeling down in general. I try not to let it get me down. No matter how much I dislike what I see in the mirror I keep telling myself I am still the same girl before the lupus… just STRONGER. What is it you do to cope with lupus? Mine is dancing, running, cooking and drawing/ crafting.

PS… consumption or alcohol… LOL
Initially, alcohol will affect you while you’re on your medication. For most Lupies I’ve met alcohol makes them feel worse.
Considering you’re only 18, it really doesn’t hurt to wait til you are 21. And ask your doctor about it. You really don’t want to risk your health for a night of getting drunk. And if your friends are peer pressuring you into drinking, they need to understand your health and well-being is more important. I didn’t start drinking until I turned 22 and I only really have just one drink maybe once every couple weeks with food.
:P I hope that helped :/ sorry if it didn’t
